Frequently Asked Questions

What's the best way to show the videos to my students?

Play A: Media Specialist. Have your Media Specialist show videos on morning announcements. That way all students can see them at the same time, and it's zero work for teachers.

Play B: Teachers. Have your teachers log in and show the videos in their classroom.

Play C: Parents. Have your parents log in and show the videos at home.

My school starts in September, not August. What do I do?

To make this process easier, we've given a general timeframe for when certain videos should be watched. And just like with Netflix or Hulu, if you start school later, just watch more than one video per week to catch up. This is the best kind of binge watching there is!

My school ends in June, not May. What do I do?

Same concept. If your school goes farther into the summer, simply watch one video every other week instead of every week. But make sure you've timed it so that every video gets watched before school ends!

What order should I show them in?

For your convenience, we've numbered the videos. Simply watch one after the other, just like your favorite show on Netflix!

Can I watch the videos out of order?

Yes! Many schools may want to focus on a certain character trait on a different month. Videos can be watched out of order, however, please note: "British Kid News" videos reference school calendar events within that month (Thanksgiving, Winter Break, MLK, etc.), so watching them out of order might be confusing.

What do I do during my Boosterthon program?

That's easy! Just "pause" showing these videos during your two-week program, then once your program ends pick up right where you left off!

My videos won't play on my school server. What do I do?

Some schools' Internet systems might block its users from watching vimeo videos. Talk to your school's Technology Specialist and see if they can "unblock" vimeo. If you're still experiencing trouble playing the videos online, use this pdf to download and show the videos individually.
